Happy Earth Day from St Aidan's ​Yesterday, our school was buzzing with activities dedicated to protecting our planet. It was a wonderful day of action and reflection across all year groups: ​EYFS headed out on a litter pick to keep our grounds beautiful. ​Year 1 got messy making seed bombs to support our local bees and butterflies. ​Year 3 designed powerful posters advocating for renewable energy. ​Our students beautifully connected these actions to Catholic Social Teachings

A big thank you to all the parents of our nursery children who joined us for our drop-in session on the importance of early years reading. We were delighted to welcome Hannah from the Trust’s Speech and Language Team, who shared valuable insights into why reading to your child is so important for their development.
