Earth Day 2026
Happy Earth Day from St Aidan's Yesterday, our school was buzzing with activities dedicated to protecting our planet. Year 1 got messy making seed bombs to support our local bees and butterflies. Year 3 designed powerful posters advocating for renewable energy. Our students beautifully connected these actions to Catholic Social Teachings

Animal antics!
We were delighted to welcome Zoolab back yesterday, where pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 had an unforgettable experience meeting a variety of fascinating animals. From a tree frog and African land snail to a millipede, gerbil, tarantula, and more, it was a hands-on opportunity to learn about the natural world. As we celebrate the Year of St Francis, it was a wonderful reminder of his love for animals and the importance of caring for all living things.
