Earth Day 2026

Happy Earth Day from St Aidan's

​Yesterday, our school was buzzing with activities dedicated to protecting our planet. It was a wonderful day of action and reflection across all year groups:

​EYFS headed out on a litter pick to keep our grounds beautiful.

​Year 1 got messy making seed bombs to support our local bees and butterflies.

​Year 3 designed powerful posters advocating for renewable energy.

​Our students beautifully connected these actions to Catholic Social Teachings, specifically Stewardship (Care for Creation) and The Common Good. They showed us that looking after our "Common Home" is a vital responsibility we all share as a community.

​Well done to all our young environmentalists!
