Early reading

A big thank you to all the parents of our nursery children who joined us for our drop-in session on the importance of early years reading.

We were delighted to welcome Hannah from the Trust’s Speech and Language Team, who shared valuable insights into why reading to your child is so important for their development.

The children then enjoyed taking part in a range of fun activities inspired by some of their favourite books – it was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and love for stories!

They even got to take away a free Bookstart book pack to continue enjoying reading together at home
